This is my third year with Project Life. Still love it. I've simplified it this year though, only doing half page spreads per week and I'm more about getting the photo's/stories into the pockets than making them pretty. Which has been working great for me, happier with the whole process.
I've not posted any PL layouts before, not sure why. Well not true - I think its mostly because my layouts are never as glamorous as the those layouts I admire, that my life really isn't all that exciting so why on earth would I want to subject anyone to read about it (haha!) or that I just don't feel the need to share the everyday things with the whole wide world. (Not that I know if anyone is actually reading this blog, lol).
But this week I've had a bit of a break from layouts, and I decided to challenge myself by using Aimee's weekly spread as inspiration for mine. I love what she did this week, the colours she used and want mine to look that pretty! (Make sure you click that link to check it out if you haven't already, it is gorgeous!)
Typical week for me - nothing really happened. Worked crazy hours, drank heaps of coffee, weather was bit bleah (but still warm for this time of year!) and Zack was Zack :)
I used one of the printable cards (suck it up buttercup) from Gillian - LOVE them all! Cant wait to use the rest. Instead of whining about working on a Saturday in a message I thought the card summed it up pretty well... As a side note, we don't work Saturday's unless its super busy which is why I was so MEH about it, haha.
Not as stunning - but I'm happy with the end result. (And yes, I should have used more blue/grean to balance it all out - live and learn! Will do better next time Aimee, hehe).
