I cant believe there have been 18 challenges for Society52 already! And I've only managed to get 4 so far. Baddd. And this week I cheated because I knew the twist so I could work it into the layout with no worries. Hah!
Anyways, easy one this week. Use a grid. Add some ink blots. Well the ink blots are never so easy because they have this habit of going where you don't want them to go. I'm sure there is a more reliable technique out there, but for me its always dumb luck, which is why I like to do them at the beginning rather than the end. If I mess up, I just start again ;)
I used bits from a few different kits again which I love! Now that I'm scrapping in a small area I am acutely aware of how much stuff I have and I really, really need to start using it up! (And we'll ignore the fact that I ordered all the SB & PL add-ons this month so have a heap of new things coming..)
This is a layout about Zack and his bestest friend (in the whole wide world of ever don't you know!), Josh. Every time he comes over for a visit they love to tip all the Lego tubs out and make a mess. Looks like a bomb has gone off. Which is why I love that little bomb picture from the ticket booklet SC did a few months back. Fits perfectly :) And why is it that kids can make the mess in less than 10 seconds but it takes them an HOUR to clean up?!
^ Those ink platters on the right were not meant to go there..lol. Had to go with it because that camera card is a one off.
Kind of a mix of bright colours for this one but I actually like it :)
And just because I can, thought I'd post small update on the house! The re-stumping is in full swing. Floors are up and most of the house is sitting on jacks. Looks crazy.
Weather has been perfect so they think they'll finish a full week ahead of schedule, YAYYY! Means the builder can get in and start moving doors, knocking out walls and all that fun stuff. Once the structural work is done all the pretty things can happen (new kitchen, bathroom, walls, paint, floors, ahhh!).
Oh and let's not forget setting up my new office, which may involve a trip to Ikea. Can't wait :)
