Hi lovelies! It's a mad-house around here at the moment, so much "stuff" to pack up and put in storage, ugh. Not to mention the patching/painting of a certain little dude's room because he's put marks on the walls. Who's bright idea was it to build new?! But enough whining, I'm here to share my next August project :)
Still loving the TN format. It's still fun to create little books of random layouts!
I love the map pattern paper included with in this months Pattern Play so I focused on using that on both sides of my page (making sure to include the section that had Australia on it, ha).
I used the awesome arrowhead cut file designed by Nathalie on this spread. I love the monthly cut files! I'm forever forgetting to include them on my pages lol, have a bowl full of them though because I keep cutting them ;)
I backed it up with paper from Paper Play then popped the glassine sheet on top to soften the colours a bit. Added a little machine stitching ontop (to hold the papers in place) and centered my little photo on top of that. I typed my journaling up on the typewriter .
For my title I used one of the tags die-cuts from the Add-on kit and popped the black puffy stickers onto that. To balance out the black I added a couple extra tags on the left side of my page at the top and bottom (tucked underneath my die-cut and journaling respectively).
And that's it! As I said, I am really enjoying this TN style of memory keeping at the moment. Size wise its not a huge change from my little 6x8 pages but I love the fact that they're contained in book! Will make storing them so much easier haha (I really need to get myself some more page protectors and albums, ahh!).
Thanks so much for stopping by. Hope you have a great weekend! Take care, Em xo
