Hey friends! Been super slack lately but March is always crazy for us. Work always picks up, then we have Zack's birthday, change of sports for Zack and it's just gogogogogo. I'm looking forward to a little slower pace come April ;)
I have been creating though; just not having much time to photograph/edit/upload them. But I did get this one done so I figured I'd pop here and share before I get distracted by something else I need to get done, haha.
I set myself a challenge when creating this one - don't use white cardstock for my background. And I did it! Ok, so maybe I went with the most neutral pattern but...no white cardstock in sight! WIN!
The rose gold featured throughout Lovely Day is so gorgeous in person! I love the shine it adds to the page. It's tricky to photograph however lol.
This page actually started with the flags. I've been hoarding them and that has to stop! They're so cute and add a great dimension to the page. Plus...rose gold!!!
The title was originally just gong to be "love" but then those thickers have more rose gold on them so naturally they made their way onto the page. I positioned the "u" on the bottom of the flag which meant I had to add foam dots behind the "y" and "o" too (so they were the same depth).
The bunny has absolutely nothing to do with the theme of the page, but it's cute AND has rose gold on it. You picking up on my love of the rose gold yet?
All the colours and elements of Lovely Day are just so yummy. Everything works so well together and it's such a breeze to create with.
And if you love rose gold like me, well, you're gonna be in heaven. Pops of it everyyyywhhhere. LOVE LOVE LOVE!
Hope your March is being a little kinder to you; sorry I've been so absent around here and I'd like to say I'll be more consistent but....well...you know me ;) Thank you so much for stopping by though, I really appreciate you taking the time to stop by this space! Take care, Em xo
