Hey friends! I'm up on the CVS blog today with another mini-album! I really loved making this one - it's a little book about a few of my favourite things (and to use up some photo's I had lying about!). Hope you'll stop by to check it out (there's a little flip-through video too!).
Take care, Em xo
Swinging by quickly just to share that I am up on the CVS blog today sharing a page using the gorgeous Wild at Heart collection! Here's a couple little sneaks!
(I actually broke out the watercolours on this one! Not much mind you, but I used them!!).
Hope your day is a great one! Take care, Em xo
Hi friends! I'm back to share another page, wohoo! I mentioned a week or so back I've been using the Make a Wish collection from Cocoa Vanilla Studio and I am seriously in love with it. The colours are so bright and fun; I really WANT to sit here and use it because it makes me feel happy.
It's another birthday themed page! I know it seems a little repetitive but seriously, Make a Wish is perfect for birthday pages! Not exclusively mind you - the next page I created using Make a Wish is about Zack, and not a birthday cake in sight! ;)
The background design for this one came about by accident actually. I'd somehow folded one of off-cuts I had sitting on my desk and I noticed it sitting there and really liked how it looked. So I created more! Super easy right? Fold a scrap bit of paper back on itself and stick to the page. I know, not exactly rocket science, but I think it looks fun!
I'd also like to point out the YELLOW stitching. YELLOW people!! I actually threaded a different colour through my machine (although I included white zig-zag...). Does not happen often ;)
There are a couple non-Make a Wish pieces on this page. One being that heart banner tucked under my photo and the other is the photo corner at the top right of my page - both of these are chipboard pieces from Love Always (they match perfectly though, don't they?!).
The only other non-CVS piece is that yellow paperclip that's sitting at the top left of my page - found that sitting in one of the little bowls on my desk. Colours matched and so the page it went!
I love how this one turned out. Lots of bright colours. Super easy background with fun embellishments = yay!
And that's another page shared! Wohoo!
I really want to make this blogging thing a bit more consistent but some days I just fail at getting the time and coming up with the words. Taking photo's is the easy part (I take so many photo's....as in a crazy amount of photos) but I suck at the words part. Which is why I'm amazed that anyone actually takes the time to come here and read this. So a very big THANK YOU for giving me your time. Sincerely....thank you!! xo
Hope your week has been a great one! Take care, Em xo
