Hi friends! I'm back to share another page I forgot to share from the past. This is a double-share - not only is it using some Dear Lizzy, it's also a page created from a lesson at Paige Evans' classes at BPC. I'm a BIG fan of Paige Evans and I love her classes at BPC; always gets me trying something new and working outside my "norm".
Yup, I used the Silhouette Cameo!! It's a miracle (I say that everytime don't I?! Ha). I cut the title from white cardstock and just backed it up with different papers.
Everything on this page is from Dear Lizzy Happy Place. I know it's an older collection now but I still loving the bright colours (although this is not a summer-themed page as such, it's summer over here now and these colours match my moods perfectly right now!).
My journaling is hidden under the photo and I added a little banner flag on the side of the photo to prompt you to lift it up!
To embellish I just added a few sticker phrases and coloured circle stickers. Super simple page but that title gives it just the right amount of punch!
I have this strange obsession with not sticking the word phrases down completely. I like the edges to pop off the page and give dimension. So to make sure they don't stick down I actually put little bits of paper at the back on each side; that way I can be sure one it goes in the plastic pocket it wont go all flat, haha.
And there you go! Another older page finished and shared! My Happy Place stash is dangerously low at the moment; going to have to try and pick up a bit more because it's perfect for a few summer pages I've thought of. (Me planning ahead?! What is going on here?!)
And if you've not tried Paige's classes at BPC then you really must! She is such an inspiration and I can promise you'll learn something new and LOVE it! I've set myself a challege to get up to date and finish them all (I'm a few lessons behind, eek!).
Thanks so much for stopping by. Take care! Em xo
